North Country Construction is a local, family-owned business founded by Layne Martin. This is where we’re raising our family—and where we take pride in the work we do.
Layne is a carpenter at heart. His 15 years of finish-carpentry experience shaped an approach rooted in careful fitting, clean lines and attention to the details you see every day.
His work in Bay Area commercial construction added experience with larger projects, busy job sites and tight schedules. He brings that practical understanding of how a project comes together to his work here on the North Coast.
Today, North Country supplies and installs interior and exterior doors, windows, hardware and finish carpentry. Interior door packages are a major part of our work, from custom homes to large-scale commercial and multifamily orders.
Homeowners can turn to us for help choosing products and completing the installation. General contractors can bring us plans for a window, door or trim package. In either case, one team carries the work from sourcing through the final details.
We believe a home deserves care, craftsmanship and a builder you can get to know. We want our work to reflect the care we have for this place.
